What is Bluffers?

Bluffers is an online bluff card game for 2-4 players. You play your cards face down and claim they all match the table card; your rival either believes you or tries to catch your bluff. Whoever was wrong pulls the trigger of their own revolver, and the last player at the table wins. The game is developed by Bluffers Entertainment and is being prepared for Android first.

How a round works

A round comes down to four steps.

  1. A tabby cat holds its cards close to its chest with a sly grin, while a glowing card showing a crowned lion (the table card) floats above the table Step 1

    The table picks a card

Everyone gets 5 cards and the table picks a card: King, Queen or Ace. Jokers count as any card.

  2. A winking fox places a face-down card on the green table, where a small pile of face-down cards already lies Step 2

    Play your cards face down

On your turn, play 1-3 cards face down and claim they all match the table card. Tell the truth or bluff.

  3. A dog in a flat cap points at three freshly flipped cards (two glow green, one red), while a rabbit beside it covers its mouth in worry Step 3

Believe it or call the bluff

The next player either plays on or calls the bluff. The cards are revealed: green means true, red means a lie.

  4. On the green table lies a revolver with its cylinder open and a single bullet showing, while a worried, sweating sheep watches from behind Step 4

Whoever was wrong pulls the trigger

Everyone has their own revolver: six chambers, one bullet, and the risk grows with every pull. The last player at the table wins.

From the table

Moments from a match in a dim bar: the table, the bluff call, the revolver, the end of the match and the costumes.

  • The bluff is called: the revealed Ace and Queen have red frames, meaning a lie; the lion Kingo sits on the left and a cow on the right

    Call the bluff!

  • The How to Play screen, step 3 of 6: a winking fox places a face-down card on the green table, with an explanation and a tip box on the right

Fair play, safe table

The deck and the bullet are handled on the server: the table runs on our servers, not on any player's phone.

  • Your cards stay yours

Every player sees only their own cards. When a bluff is called, only the cards on the table are revealed.

  • Block

Tap a player's name in the lobby or at the table and choose Block: their messages and gestures are hidden on your device.

  • Report

Cheating, insults and harassment are not allowed. Choose Report, pick a reason, and your report goes to our team for review.
